MOBILE, Ala. (AP) - The Mobile County Sheriff's Office was looking Friday for two convicted sex offenders in the Mobile area.

Sheriffs Office spokeswoman Kate Johnson said 49-year-old William Larry Law and 35-year-old Lester Dwight Jackson are both wanted on charges of failing to transfer to a legal residence.

Johnson said Law was found guilty in Ohio of kidnapping and four counts of rape in 1989. She said Jackson was found guilty in Mobile of second-degree sex abuse in 1998.

Both men were last seen April 16 in the Theodore area. Johnson said investigators do not believe there is any connection between the men.

Anyone with information on Law or Jackson is asked to call the Mobile County Sheriff's Office at 251-574-8633.
