PANAMA CITY, Fla. (AP) - A judge convicted a man for the decapitation murder of his estranged wife.

Judge Michael Overstreet also sentenced 21-year-old Blake Collier to life in prison for the first-degree murder charge.

Collier's lawyer says Collier was insane when he killed 18-year-old Lennia Hing at Panama City Beach. Hing's headless body was discovered March 30th, 2005, in a wooded area, and her head was
found nearby June 20th, 2005.

Collier admitted to the murder during a jailhouse interview with The News Herald of Panama City, saying he killed Hing so they "could be together forever."

A telephone message left for Smith by The Associated Press was not immediately returned.
