Michael Jackson is thanking his fans around the world for their love and support.
But in a brief statement outside a courthouse in Santa Maria, California, Jackson didn't address the child molestation charges against him.
He pleaded innocent today to ten felony counts. The grand jury indictment includes charges of lewd acts involving a minor, and administering an intoxicating agent to a child. There's also a conspiracy count involving allegations of child abduction, false imprisonment and extortion.
At the request of prosecutors, the judge agreed to seal parts of the indictment regarding the conspiracy count.
Afterward, Jackson's attorney told reporters that the case will be about "the complete vindication" of what he described as "a wonderful human being named Michael Jackson."
Jackson then left the courthouse, as a crowd of fans cheered. Unlike last time, when he paused to dance briefly atop a car, Jackson left quickly without stopping to greet his fans.
