Webb House Fire

A late-night fire destroyed the home of a Webb couple who are employed here at WTVY News 4.

The family of four watched, as their 34 year old home burst into flames.

Phil and Deborah Bump lost everything in the fire.

The Webb Fire Department says just after midnight they were dispatched to Bump Road in Houston County.

The couple says they awoke to a cracking sound of a window bursting and a small fire, which quickly got out of control.

The Bump’s have lived in the home for more than three decades and raised their children there.

The family has no insurance, but luckily escaped without injuries.
