Twenty-eight-year-old Jennifer Porter arrived at the Hillsborough County Jail accompanied by her attorney Barry Cohen and sheriff's deputies.
Porter was charged with leaving the scene of an accident involving death. Her bond was set at $7,500.
She was charged in the March 31st accident that killed 13-year-old Bryant Wilkins and three-year-old Durantae Caldwell.
Their eight-year-old sister and two-year-old brother were injured.
Her lawyer says Porter was too afraid to stop at the time of the accident.
Sheriff’s deputies said the children were crossing the street on their way home from a neighborhood community center when Porter hit them.
