Mine Accident

A doctor said three Pennsylvania miners still hospitalized after their underground ordeal are doing "exceptionally well" -- and are "desperately wanting to go home."

Two of the men will probably go home Monday and the other one Tuesday. One miner had shoulder pains, which can be a sign of the painful and sometimes fatal condition known as the bends. He was treated in a decompression chamber.

Schweiker said state environmental officials kicked off an investigation Monday.
