The Dothan Police Department is doing its part to show students what will happen if they drink and drive.
Dothan High School seniors got behind the wheel wearing special drunk vision goggles.
The goggles make the student feel the affects of alcohol without the risk.
With a police officer as the passenger, the teens drove through an obstacle course of cones.
But they had a hard time keeping the car straight.
“It's so important that they understand the importance, because you can have fun without using these things and that's what we're trying to get to them. Because you can tell them, but showing them makes the difference,” says Officer Tommy Davis of Dothan Police Dept.
The lesson comes before the Dothan High School prom Friday night.
