With this year's school calendar nearly over, Coffee County School Superintendent, Dr. Linda Ingram brought an A-plus grade to the board meeting.
Ingram says work is ahead of schedule at Zion Chapel and right on target at Kinston.
Both are K-12th grade schools and have undergone major renovations over recent months.
In addition, a few assistant principals have been moved up to principal in several school districts.
One board member says it shows the district attempts to promote within its own system instead of going outside to find qualified applicants.
