A Jackson County woman is dead and her husband has been charged with murder.
Forty-four-year-old Julian Shiver of Altha is being held in the Jackson County Jail. He's accused of shooting his wife, Felisia, in the head at a home in Cottondale on April 14th.
Mrs. Shiver died Friday night at a Dothan hospital.
Shiver was shot by another man the same time his wife was wounded.
He was released from the hospital Saturday.
Investigators say the state attorney's office will seek a first degree murder indictment.
