The Coffee County Commission voted earlier this month not to renew county administrator Wilson Mobley's contract.
But Mobley will be paid for the remainder of his current contract which will end next April.
Monday Commissioner Bernest Brooks told the board that it'll cost about 150,000 dollars in salary and other benefits accumulated by Mobley over the last 17 years.
If the commission hires a new administrator during this time, Brooks says the amount escalates to more than two-hundred thousand dollars.
Commissioners at this time are in the process of establishing criteria in the hiring of a new administrator.
