A group of Alabama Department of Public health workers watched Alabama State health officer Donald Williamson via satellite Wednesday.
The Montgomery office and Williamson have been talking about this announcement for months though, as children under 10 years old will have access all across Alabama in the coming weeks.
Locally, the Houston Co. Health department has been working with school s and school nurses to determine how scheduling should go. Permission slips were sent home within the past few weeks.
