One of the main highways through the Wiregrass is about to get a face-lift, but the work could cause problems for beach-bound traffic.
The Alabama Department of Transportation will begin work Thursday on re-surfacing Highway 167 between Hartford and the Florida state line.
Highway 167 is one the main roads from Alabama to Panama City Beach.
