As the war on terror continues, students at Troy University will share their opinions about the surge in Iraq in an open-forum discussion.
Political science students have been studying the current war situation in Iraq.
They will be presenting their ideas about the war and America’s role in the war during an open forum Wednesday in the Troy University amphitheatre.
The forum is open to the public, but organizers ask you to only argue points that can be backed with facts.
Political Science Advisor Dr. Jim Rhinehart said, “We felt that we wanted to create an environment where people could gain from publicly discussing it in an open forum, to utilize tools learned in the classroom and to put to particle use,”
The open forum will begin at 11:30, Wednesday in Troy University's amphitheatre.
