The President of the Republic of Mexico is promoting programs designed to ensure the quality of life for Mexican citizens’ right in Dothan area and he's sending his consulate to the Circle City to find out concerns of Mexican nationals.
The consulate will issue matricula’s which gives an immigrant identification status in the state.
The I.D card gives the Mexican government an idea of where their citizen's are and how the government may be of better service.
This is the consulates second trip to our area; they were here back in 2005.
“These are official ID cards issued by the Mexican government and they've had collaboration with the American government to make sure these cards are authentic,” said Rich Lopez of Richco Consulting Service
The consulate will be in Dothan this Saturday at Saint Columba Catholic Church.
A meeting will begin at 8 am.
