Dothan Man Arrested for Robbery After High-Speed Chase

A Dothan convenience store was robbed Tuesday morning, but police caught the suspect following a high-speed chase.

The Beeline Store on Westgate Parkway was robbed around 9:30.

The suspect got away in a blue car that was later found to be stolen. Police spotted the car a short time later and the chase was on.

The suspect fled down Brannon Stand Road at more than 80 miles an hour.

The get-away car overturned near the intersection of Brannon Stand Road and Highway 203.

Police identify the suspect as 24-year-old Altair Terik Dozier of Dothan.

He was treated for minor injuries at a Dothan Hospital.

Police say Dozier has also been charged with robbing another Dothan convenience store Monday night.

The suspect in that crime threw hot coffee on the clerk behind the counter before grabbing money from the cash register and making his get-away.

Dozier is being held in the Houston County Jail under $70,000 bond.
