More money could soon be offered to help catch two suspects wanted for the murder of a Dothan convenience store clerk.
Two men at the Southeast Mini-Mart on Cottonwood Road gunned down 54-year-old Prakash Shah Tuesday night.
The storeowner has offered a $5,000 reward for information in the case. And District Attorney Doug Valeska put up an extra $5,000 on top of the usual $1,000 Crimestopper reward. Valeska has asked Governor Bob Riley for another $5,000 to help catch the killers before they strike again.
Police are also checking to see if another convenience store robbery a few blocks away a couple of weeks ago could be related to this one.
Anyone with information about the case can call 793-7000 to collect the reward.
