TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) - The price of gasoline continues to climb in Florida and across the country.
The average cost of self-serve regular gasoline rose about 18 cents per gallon nationwide over the past two weeks, according to the latest Lundberg Survey of 7-thousand gas stations across the country.
That increase is the same as reported by a AAA survey of gasoline stations in Florida.
That translates to an average price of 2 dollars, 78 cents a gallon both here in Florida and nationwide.
Nationwide, the lowest average price for regular fuel was 2 dollars, 54 cents in Charleston, South Carolina, and the highest was in San Francisco at 3 dollars, 30 cents a gallon.
