Police Searching for Missing Elderly Millbrook Woman

MILLBROOK, Ala. (AP) - Millbrook police continued a search for an 81-year-old woman missing for two days.

Minerva Lewis' family says the 81-year-old hasn't been seen since leaving to run errands Wednesday morning.

Assistant Police Chief P.K. Johnson of the Millbrook police said someone is believed to have seen Lewis at the Holley Mart store off Highway 14 near Wetumpka Wednesday. But the witness didn't realize
at the time that Lewis was missing.

Lewis' family said she has been known to get confused at times, but has never disappeared before.

Police say they have extensively searched the places that Lewis generally frequents.

Lewis was last seen driving a white 1996 Chevy Corsica with an Alabama license 29B238M.
