A routine traffic stop led to the arrest of two people believed to be involved in the break-in of an area business.
Authorities say 18-year-old Dustin Ray Mathis and a 17-year-old juvenile, broke into the Total Package Liquor Store in Holmes County. They allegedly took a large quantity of alcohol.
Police stopped them a short time later after the pair ran a red light in downtown Geneva.
Mathis was arrested on an Alabama charge of possession of marijuana. In addition, he'll face burglary and petty theft charges in Holmes County, Florida.
The juvenile was released into the custody of his parents.
