Authorities need your help getting a dangerous man off the street. Police say he attacked a woman at a Northwest Florida store.
Cathy Mayo was working at Selah’s Grocery along Florida Highway 2 in the Bethlehem community of Holmes County.
At around 6:15 a.m. Thursday, Mrs. Mayo says a man walked into the business. He then told her that there was a dead rat near the freezer section in the back of the store.
When she went to investigate, the suspect later identified as Dennis Matthew Snell reportedly began beating her up. He did not take any money, or anything else.
The 29-year-old suspect was last seen driving Eastbound along Highway 2, driving a maroon Chevy Corsica with a dent to the driver's door and had a past dealership tag in the back.
Authorities say someone this dangerous could strike again.
Anyone with information on Snell should contact the Holmes County Sheriff's Department at 850-547-3681.
