Arrest in Ozark Shooting Case

A convicted sex offender, suspected in the shooting of an Ozark man is behind bars.

Authorities arrested 24-year old Adrian McClendon of Barbour County for shooting a man with a nine millimeter handgun.

Investigators say they found McClendon in a closet loading a gun.

Police recovered two firearms.

Right now there are six charges against McClendon, including 1st and 2nd degree assault and shooting into an occupied vehicle.

Police say more charges could be filed against McClendon and other arrests are possible in the case.
