Alabama's Medicaid program could be getting a huge funding boost from an expanded Bingo For Books proposal.

One Alabama lawmaker says the new proposal could generate as much as $48 million annually for Medicaid and an additional $48 million to purchase textbooks.
Lawmakers are expected to get a full peak at the substitute bill sometimes next week.
