Funeral arrangements for a Wiregrass soldier killed in Iraq will be held this weekend.
US Army Specialist Curtis Glawson of Daleville was killed on March 20th in Baghdad when an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle.
Glawson was assigned to the 610th Brigade Support Battalion based in Fort Riley, Kansas.
He was assisting another unit at the time of his death.
His mother, Yolanda Brooks, spoke to him four days before he was killed.
Yolanda says, “He said it was crazy over there that's what he said there were bombs all over the place.”
Specialist Curtis Glawson's funeral arrangements are set for this weekend.
The visitation is on Friday from 5-7 pm.
The funeral is Saturday at 11 am at Daleville Christian Fellowship.
