One of the first people to be convicted under a new Alabama anti-terrorist law has received his sentence.
Willie Paul Tyson has been ordered to spend the next 15-years in state prison.
Last July at Samson Municipal Court, the 27-year-old Geneva County man threatened the lives of the judge and court personnel. He then lunged at an officer's gun before being subdued.
Under state sentencing guidelines, Tyson could have received life in prison.
