Authorities have made an arrest in the weekend murder of a Geneva man. The suspect, accompanied by his wife and lawyer, turned himself in to authorities at the Geneva County Jail Thursday.
Police say Richard Jenkins was the triggerman in the death of Mike Brown.
Late Saturday night, 24-year-old Brown was found behind the wheel of his car. He had been shot in the head.
Geneva Police Chief Frankie Lindsey won't speculate on a motive, but says the 43-year-old suspect is the killer. But, Jenkins' attorney says his client is innocent.
Jenkins remains in the Coffee County Jail. He’s expected to make his first court appearance Friday morning.
