A convicted robber who was freed by mistake will spend the rest of his life behind bars.
Twenty-eight-year-old Ruben Mcnabb's first trial ended in a mistrial last winter, and a Houston County jailer who misunderstood the verdict set him free.
Mcnabb eventually turned himself in, but not until 10 days later.
Another jury found him guilty last month, and yesterday he was sentenced to life without parole because of his criminal history.
Mcnabb was convicted for the 2001 robbery of a Dothan grocery store.
He was arrested six months later after a routine traffic stop in Orlando, Florida.
A second suspect in the case remains unidentified and still at-large.
