Two grocery stores in Slocomb and Hartford were ripped-off of nearly $800 over the weekend. Hartford police say two brothers are to blame.
Larry and Greg Wright are wanted for forgery, theft by deception and several other charges.
Investigators say the men have cashed "bogus" payroll checks at some two-dozen businesses in a half-dozen states in the last few weeks. The checks appear to be legitimate.
But, there’s no such company as "Solid Fuel Energy Corporation” out of Nashville, Tennessee.
Authorities believe Larry and Greg Wright may still be in the Tri-States area.
If you know the whereabouts of these men, you are asked to contact your nearest law enforcement agency.
