Alabama driver licenses will have a new look next year. The license will have over 35 security features so fake licenses can be easily detected. It will crack down on underage drinkers too.
The “under 21” drivers license will be vertical instead of horizontal.
Alabama State Trooper Tracy Nelson says the Alabama department of public safety is following the lead of other states.
The new licenses should hit the streets at the beginning of 2005.
