A woman who confessed to one of the largest embezzlement schemes in Houston County history is up for parole for the second time this year after spending less than 12 months behind bars.
District Attorney Doug Valeska successfully blocked Grace White's parole in January and she wasn't supposed to be eligible for parole again for another year.
The 64-year-old woman pled guilty last February to 27-counts of theft of property.
She got a 20-year sentence for stealing more than $450,000 from the Wiregrass Gin Company where she worked.
Now, her victims are questioning the state's repeated attempts to set her free. Grace White's next parole board hearing is set for May 3.
