We told you about some people running a bogus fund-raiser for the New Brockton Police Department. Authorities have learned the suspects may be dressing as police officers and driving a squad car.
New Brockton Police Captain Dale Grimes said his department has received several reports of the suspects pulling over vehicles.
They reportedly remind motorists of the city's financial problems and ask for a donation, saying the money will go toward the police department.
Grimes said the fund-raiser is a scam.
Grimes said the suspects appear to be in an older model black and white squad car.
