Volunteer Clean-up Hours

Enterprise Mayor Kenneth Boswell says the organization of volunteers during the tornado clean-up has been a phenomenal success.

To date, more 2,500 volunteers have registered to help with clean-up efforts.

The city has accumulated more than 22-thousand man hours and counting.

After federal and state contributions, the city will be responsible for 15-percent of the clean-up and re-building costs.

The city gets $18 per volunteer hour to help satisfy the remaining portion of the costs.
