Jackson County authorities have made an arrest in a stolen property case, after News 4 aired a crimestoppers report last week.
Harry Lee Donaldson is charged with dealing in stolen property. Houston County authorities are also investigating his involvement in a missing trailer.
Last Wednesday, a portable tire-changing center from Clark’s Grocery on Highway 109 was stolen. Computerized mounting and balancing machines had been bolted to the 20-foot trailer, along with a generator and an air compressor. The equipment was brand-new and valued at more than $15,000.
Police have already recovered items taken from two businesses in Houston County totaling about $25,000.
Donaldson is also being charged in Holmes County for a similar crime.
