Ozark residents are getting the chance to vote on an 8-mil property tax increase. That vote is set for May 11th.
The money will go to support the construction of a new high school and renovation to the older schools. Ozark officials say there will be serious repercussions if the tax doesn't pass.
This is the same tax referendum Ozark postponed before the governor's tax vote last September. Now officials say it's time to get behind it to help the children of the town.
