White Powder At GE Plant

Powder At GE Non-Dairy Creamer

Test results are back on a white powder substance that closed a Dothan manufacturing plant and sent nine employees to the hospital.

Dothan police have announced that the substance was a type of nondairy creamer.

Employees at the GE Motors Plant on Hodgesville Road were evacuated last Thursday after a mysterious white powder showed up in a parts shipment.

Nine employees were sent to Southeast Alabama Medical Center for decontamination and an evaluation.

Police are investigating the incident but don't know where the powder came from or who sent it.
