It's been nearly a week since Alabama State Troopers and National Guardsmen have left Enterprise and security efforts in the city are actually improving.
Authorities say there are fewer reports of looting or vandalism.
This is could be because most people who own property in the area have already cleaned out their homes for demolition.
However, Enterprise officers are regularly patrolling the city.
They're also getting help from a private security company, which is hired by the school system, to keep an eye on school property.
Capt. Mike Lolley says, "We're still trying to saturate with extra patrolmen and investigators in the disaster area and we're also getting outside assistance from other law enforcement agencies."
Outside areas who have officers helping the Enterprise police department include Houston County, Daleville and Midland city.
