Dothan Fire Chief Sam Crawford says architectural plans for new living quarters at the Lakewood Fire Station are almost complete.
The chief shut down the station several weeks ago after lab tests confirmed a dangerous mold was inside the firefighter's living quarters.
Those working there have since been relocated to the Westgate Fire Station.
Chief Crawford says he will address the Dothan City Commission in the next two weeks with the architectural plans and hopes construction on new living quarters at the station will begin within the next 30 days.
