Two-weeks-ago when the deadly tornado hit Enterprise, the twister first touched down in the older College Street section of town before moving eastward toward the high school.
Several dozen homes along College Street were either demolished or sustained major damage.
Residents say it's amazing there were no deaths or serious injuries there.
Phillip Hernandez is involved in cleaning-up his grandmother's destroyed home. She survived by waiting out the weather in an interior bathroom.
"She could hear it. Sounded like a freight train. Your ears would pop with the decrease in pressure... every window of the house was blown out,” said Hernandez.
By hearing weather sirens, several residents say it alerted them to the imminent danger of a tornado in the area.
