The Henry County Sheriff's Department says that they now have identified the body of a murder victim found in a hunting field on Saturday.
The victim has been identified as 23-year-old Charles James Hatfield.
His body was discovered around 6 a.m. Saturday morning out in the open in a hunting field outside Abbeville.
Ironically, the Henry County Coroner stumbled across the body while he was out scouting for turkeys.
Authorities say the Dothan man died from a gunshot wound.
Investigators now say they are working on a couple of leads in the case, but they have arrested no suspects at this time.
