Nearly 200 people have gotten sick after eating at a restaurant in Panama City Beach earlier this month.
Bay County Health officials are investigating what caused 177 to get sick after eating at the Mikato Japanese Seafood Steakhouse and Lounge. No one has reported any illness since last Tuesday.
The restaurant remains open, since local and state officials say they have found no reason to close it. An inspection of the restaurant has turned up no apparent cause.
But, some food specimen samples have been sent for analysis and results are pending.
