A would-be robber in Dothan was wounded by one of his intended victims.
Police say 20-year-old David Cowley tried to rob the owner and an employee as they left the Dairy Queen on South Alice Street around midnight Sunday night.
But, one of the victims pulled a gun and opened fire. Cowley fled but officers quickly found him bleeding from a hand wound behind a nearby business.
Police want the suspect held without bond.
Cowley will make his first court appearance later this week.
Police say more arrests are expected.
