More than 20 college students took time off from the gridiron to help in tornado relief operations.
Some two dozen members of the Alabama State University football squad traveled from Montgomery to help out.
Several of the team members are from Coffee County, and they wanted to do their part in the clean-up effort.
Head Coach Charles Coe says it shows these young men what true tragedy really is.
Besides Alabama State, football players from nearby communities are also helping with the storm clean-up.
