The Wiregrass 50+ expo is offering exhibits, give-away, job fairs and more... All geared to the older crowd.
There are over 70 booths set up offering health advice and local goodies.
The expo is sponsored by the Southeast Regional Council on Aging.
It's one of only a few around the country that is geared for anyone age 50 and older.
"I wanted to commune with all the people and it's a worthy cause," says Euretha Richardson.
"The baby boomer population is interested in a lot of things, so we tried to capture all of those things,” says Dave Geiger, SARCOA.
The day is split into two sections.
The exhibit booths are only set up in the morning.
After noon, country music star Mel Tillis speaks and the speed dating begins.
Expo organizers say they hope to bring more people out next year.
The expo will continue tomorrow from nine a.m. until three p.m.
