A Dothan man is in jail for sex crimes against a minor. 36-year-old Elmer Chavis is charged with three counts of first-degree rape involving an under-age girl.
Investigators were just notified of the crimes Tuesday and police say more charges could be filed.
A bond hearing for Chavis is scheduled for Friday afternoon.
