TUSKEGEE, Ala. (AP) - A bird hunter found the body of a woman in Macon County woods Saturday.
Sheriff's officials said the body was found off Macon County Road 57. Sheriff David Warren says he knows the woman's name, but he's awaiting positive I-D through fingerprints before releasing it.
Coroner Hal Bentley says the body was found about 11:30 am. He says there were no apparent injuries to the body. He estimates she had been dead several days.
Warren says anyone with information about the case should call the Sheriff's Office at 334 727-2500.
