Hayes Released On Bond

Charles Hayes Post Bond

A Dale County man accused in the death of a nightclub operator is now a out on bond.

34-year-old Grady Hayes of Ozark was charged with murder and felony murder two weeks ago.

Investigators say Hayes intentionally crashed his truck into the entrance of the "Toy Box Too" in Newton following an altercation with a bouncer.

50-year-old Charles May was crushed by falling debris and later pronounced dead at a Dothan hospital.

Bond for Hayes was set at $99,000. Hayes posted the amount required by a commercial bonding company and was released from the Dale County Jail Tuesday.
