There could soon be draft beer flowing in the city of Dothan.
City officials discussed the proposal at Tuesday's commission meeting but, a vote on the draft beer issue won't happen until next week. City commissioners say they expect to send legislation to Montgomery for its approval.
At the meeting, Dothan interim city manager Jerry Corbin brought up draft beer sales for discussion. Some commissioners expressed concern about a draft beer vote being tied with Sunday liquor sales issue, but they say they would vote to approve draft beer in the Circle City as long as it's not sold on Sundays.
Once voted on next week, the commission will draft legislation to send to the state capitol for approval.
