Funeral and Burial Arrangements

Funeral and burial arrangements have been made for most of the 8-students who were killed.

  • 16-year-old Andrew Joel Jackson's funeral will be held Tuesday, March 6th at Hillcrest Baptist Church at 2 pm. His visitation is from 11-am to 2-pm the same day at the church. Jackson's burial will follow at the First Baptist Church, Level Plains cemetery.

  • Funeral services for 17-year-old Michael D. Tompkins will be held Tuesday, March 6th at Open Door Baptist Church at 10 am, with his burial there at the church. His visitation will start at 8:30 Tuesday morning leading to his funeral.

  • 16-year-old Michael J. Bowen's funeral service will be on Monday at 11:30 am, March 5th at main post chapel at Fort Rucker. His visitation will be 5 to 7-pm Sunday evening t the funeral home. His burial will take place at Woodlawn Memory Gardens in Ozark.

  • 16-year-old Alice Michelle Wilson's funeral will also be held Monday march 5th at 10-am at Searcy Funeral Home Chapel. Her visitation will be from 5 to 7-pm Sunday evening as well.

  • 17-year-old Ryan Andrew Mohler's funeral service will be Tuesday, March 6th at 2-pm at Hill Crest Baptist Chuch, with the burial at First Baptist Church, Level Plains cemetery. His visitation will be from 11-am to 2-pm that day.

  • The funeral for 16-year-old Kathryn Madora Strunk will be Monday March 5th at 3-pm at College Avenue Church of Christ, with burial in Newark, Arkansas on Wednesday at the Blue Springs cemetery. Her visitation will be 1 to 3-pm Monday at the church.

  • Funeral services for 16-year-old Peter James Dunn II the will be held Friday, March 9th at 11 am from the Pleasant Shade Baptist Church of Enterprise. Dunn's visitation will take place at the church one hour prior to the service.

  • Visitation for 17-year old Jamie Ann Vidensek is set for tomorrow from 5:30 to 7:30 in the evening at Patterson-Sorrells Funeral Home. Her funeral will be held Wednesday, March 7th, at 11 am at Saint John Catholic Church in Enterprise.
