United Way Campaign

Another organization that helps families in Alabama has set its sights on raising $2.2 million.

The Annual Wiregrass United Way Campaign begins on Aug. 22 and includes Coffee, Dale, Geneva, Henry and Houston counties.

The United Way is the fund raising mechanism for 37 service agencies like the Red Cross, The House of Ruth, Boys and Girls Clubs, Scouting and Habitat for Humanity.

The theme for this year is "Make Your Caring Count."
