Anniston Chemical Disposal
Army officials say there is no threat to the community in Anniston after the closing of its Alabama chemical weapons incinerator.
An alarm indicated a possible leak of deadly Sarin Nerve Gas inside a main building.
The incinerator was destroying rockets filled with gelled or crystallized GB Nerve Agent, known as Sarin, when the alarm sounded about 4:39 Wednesday afternoon.
Officials are trying to determine the source of the chemical agent that caused the alarm.
