Alabama State Troopers have released the identities of three people who died in a fiery head-on collision between a tanker truck and a minivan on Highway 431.
Officials say 29-year-old Jennifer Gilmore of Eufaula and her two small sons, died in the crash early Thursday morning. The driver of the tanker truck suffered extensive burns.
He was taken to a hospital in Columbus, Georgia and later transferred to Grady hospital in Atlanta. His condition is still unknown.
The 6:00 AM crash happened on US 431, about three miles North of Eufaula, Alabama.
Officials say the tanker truck was hauling peanut oil and fuel tanks that exploded on impact. Troopers said it appeared one of the vehicles crossed the median.
